I've been swimming in the goodies this week. First, I received my Sephora loot, purchased (mostly) with a birthday gift certificate. Check out all the stuff I got!!
Fiberwig Mascara: I've been dying to try this stuff which touts itself as paint on fake eyelashes and NOT mascara. Innnnteresting. I tried it out for the first time on Sunday and LOVED it. It adds incredible length, is not at all clumpy, does not smudge or smear during the day and washes away with warm water!
Urban Decay Eyeshadow - S & M: A shiny, sparkly pewter shadow. Urban Decay have my favorite shadows. They keep from going creasy for longer than crappier shadows and they always have a great collection of colors.
NARS Lipstick - Viridiana - I'm thrilled that berry shades are back this fall.
Smashbox Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primer - Color Adjust: I never would have tried this without a gift certificate. I was skeptical about whether or not it would be worth it to add another step to my makeup routine, especially a step that is just as expensive as the foundation. I'm happy I tried it though. This primer makes your skin feel silky and smooth, gives you a fresher, more healthy look, and it reduced my redness. I likey.

Sephora Brand Lip Attitude Chic in Talented Berry - Haven't tried it yet, but hoo-ha for another berry shade!
Dolce & Gabbana The One Eau de Parfum - I kind of like this, but it's borderline old lady powdery
Issey Miyake L'Eau d' Issey Eau de Toilette Spray - Not for me, very watery and beachy.
Bare Escentuals Buxom Lip Gloss in Dolly - This is another one of those "stimulation" based lip glosses. It tricks your lips into looking bigger by irritiating them with a special tingly potion. Though it is a little uncomfortable, at least Bare Escentuals was smart enough to use cooling agents instead of spice oils. Whenever I used Lip Venom I felt ill.
And last but not least, I used a discount code I found on Retailmenot.com to get a full size eyeshadow duo from Smashbox! Woot woot! I didn't get to pick the color, but fortunately they sent a very trendy set of pink and pewter. El perfecto for Fall!
Today I got a surprise package from my sis in Boston! It contained a hilarious card that some greeting card writer must have written about me in particular - because there can't be more people like me out there, right? I guess I'm not alone after all.
On the inside it says "I will see you when I see you - I am the coyote". I told Heather I'm going to start a coyote gang now.
She also sent me this rad cat picture! It is prefect for my dining room.

See the little table cloth I made out of two wayward yards of Amy Butler fabric? (It's so swanky to have a table cloth finally, but the downside is that the cats think I have given them a new padded bed. Jerks.) How did Heather know I needed a beret wearing yellow cat picture featuring a sixties-ish swedish-like floral design? Wowee, she is smart for really reals.
She also sent me this deliciously weird T-shirt with a picture of a mermaid-bear girl drinking beer in a bowling alley.
